Privacy Policy
Sudoku Garden version 1.0 is designed to work without an account and without developer analytics. Your game progress stays on your device.
Data we collect
The Sudoku Garden app does not collect personal data or transmit game usage data to the developer. It does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier, or device analytics.
Local game data
The app stores your puzzle state, timer, difficulty, Drops, Seeds, Garden crops and harvests, Collection, Basket, Requests, onboarding state, and preferences locally on your iPhone. A previous valid local record may be retained as a recovery backup if a write is interrupted.
Optional local research data
Local Research Data is off by default. If you explicitly turn it on in Garden Settings, the app may keep up to 1,000 anonymous gameplay and Garden events on this iPhone for your own review. These events are not sent to the developer. You can view, export, or clear them at any time; exporting opens the iOS share sheet and sends data only if you choose a destination.
Network transmission
Core gameplay does not require a network connection and does not send game data to a developer server. If you choose a Support, Privacy, or Terms link, your browser connects to this public website. GitHub, as the website host, may process ordinary technical request information under its own privacy terms.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The app does not include developer analytics, crash-reporting SDKs, advertising, attribution, cross-app tracking, or targeted advertising. It does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
Sharing
Milestone sharing is optional and user initiated. If you open the iOS share sheet, you decide whether to share the displayed text and choose the destination. Cancelling does not send anything or change game progress.
Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until you reset it in Settings, delete the app, or iOS removes the app data. To erase it in the app, open the puzzle menu, choose Settings, then Reset all progress. Version 1.0 has no cloud copy or account-based recovery.
Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information in a support email, contact us so it can be handled appropriately.
Changes to this policy
If app data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed version is released.
